Hi, my name is Scott Petterson and I am a vintage hockey memorabilia collector and hockey historian. As part of my effort to document the history of vintage hockey teams and players I initally developed this web site back in 2000 and then co-authored a book in 2007 titled "Hockey in Portland". The book features many photos and statistics of the Portland Rosebuds, Portland Buckaroos, Portland Eagles and Portland Penguins who played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League (PCHL);
Northwest Hockey League (NWHL) and Western Hockey League (WHL) from 1914 until 1974. The book is available for purchase on-line at Amazon.com.
My primary reason for developing this vintage hockey memorabilia site is to show other the many great vintage pieces of hockey memorabilia in my collection and to keep the memory of the old NHL and other professional hockey leagues, teams and players alive.
